Based on the evaluations of experts and the proposal of the Erasmus+ Programme Evaluation Committee, the European Union co-finances the mobility project of Midwayer Films OÜ, project number 2022-1-EE01-KA122-ADU-000079587, for the years 2022-2023..

“Midwayer Films” sent their employees for job shadowing and qualification enhancement to Portugal, Iceland, France, and to Sicily, Italy. The receiving partners were the Portuguese Film School, VGA Agence Artistique, EProject Consult, and the Icelandic Casting Agency. They also met with the Portuguese partner Mobility Friends and the Icelandic Film School. The mobilities lasted for 7-16 days, with the main periods being March-May 2023 and August-September 2023.

Through job shadowing and participating in workshops, Midwayer Films team members gained knowledge, skills, and various tips from different stages of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production . In addition,the practical skills and knowledge acquired during the mobility project enable the employees of Midwayer Films to create high-quality training content, increasing the interest of potential learners in film-related learning materials. All of the courses created during the project are digital and web-based. The employees who participated in the mobilities subsequently organized a similar outreach event in Estonia, including presentations on documentary filmmaking, conducting casting and successful auditioning techniques. The learning materials will be available for free from spring/summer 2023 through newsletters and Midwayer Films’ social media channels or website.
